Overview

Zhiwa: Thimphu Tshechu Edition is a 7-night, 8-day cultural and nature journey through Phuentsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, Phobjikha and Paro. A highlight of this edition is witnessing the Thimphu Tshechu—one of Bhutan’s most significant sacred festivals—through its masked Cham dances, rituals, music and community gatherings. The journey also includes the Takin Trail, Simply Bhutan, Dochula Pass, Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, nature walks in Phobjikha, a traditional farmhouse meal and the hike to Taktsang Monastery. Designed for a small group of four to six, Zhiwa offers a slower and more intimate encounter with Bhutan’s people, landscapes and living traditions.
